A few months ago, we overhauled the dashboard. The old one wasn’t the experience we wanted for our users, and rebuilding it gave us a much better foundation for adding new features.
Today we’re releasing the first batch of those features and improvements.
Bulk Actions
You can now perform actions on multiple servers and sites at once. Deployed a change across several sites and need to clear their page caches? Select them all and do it in a couple of clicks. Need to restart a group of servers after applying updates? Now you can restart them all at once.
There’s no more repeating the same action one server or site at a time, so routine maintenance takes a fraction of the time.
Labels
Labels let you group your servers and sites however you like, then filter the entire dashboard to show only what you need. For example:
- By environment: Label sites as Production or Staging so you can focus on live sites when it matters most.
- By client: If you’re an agency, label everything that belongs to a client and see all of their servers and sites in one place.
- By importance: Label your high-traffic or ecommerce sites as Critical so they’re never lost in a long list.
Labels work well with bulk actions, too. Filter by a client’s label, select everything, and clear the page cache for all of their sites at once.
New Filters
- Filter sites by server: See only the sites hosted on a specific server, so you can quickly take action on all of them at once, like updating WordPress themes and plugins across every site on that server.
- Filter by Assistant task priority: You could already sort tasks by priority, but now you can filter to show only the priority levels you care about, such as just your high-priority tasks.
